Jürgen designed, built and managed the independent test site at OFI in Klagenfurt, Austria. His technical experience in UV began in 2005. His work included validation of UV systems, material testing and certification of water treatment products.
Jürgen is the living testing and inspection body, with a deep experience and understanding in product development, risk assessment and product compliance management.

Since the OFI test site was taken over by Energie Klagenfurt GmbH (EKG), part of Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG, Jürgen has been the head of the new testing and inspection site in Klagenfurt, Austria.

The range of services includes testing and validation of UV disinfection systems, lamps, ballasts and UV radiometers for disinfection and AOP applications.

Furthermore, other water treatment systems such as physical water treatment, ion exchangers, valves, filters and systems for the production of disinfectants on site are offered in the harmonized and non-harmonized scope.
The EKG testing center is embedded in a network of several Austrian cooperating testing centers and, in addition to product and material testing, EKG also offers EMC testing, metallurgy, chemical analysis and material testing of products and materials in contact with drinking water according Austrian, German, and European requirements.

The EKG offers risk assessment of products in accordance with European legislation, product inspection for ÖVGW/DVGW/SVGW certification and management system certification according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

As part of the STW municipal utility service provider, this EKG testing and inspection center also offers laboratory services for drinking water analysis as well as advice on the topics of water hygiene, plant- and product safety.
